So, no completed project today. Probably not tomorrow either, but hopefully Sunday, and definitely Monday.

What am I doing?

Rummage Sale!

Oh my GOODNESS, it’s crazy. CRAZY!

I have never seen so much stuff in a single room in my life. These snapshots don’t come close to doing justice to how many donations have come in. It’s incredible. Such a huge blessing for the most amazing preschool!

And honestly, it’s a blast! My co-fundraiser and I have had a great time organizing people and stuff and pickups and deliveries and meeting new people and connecting with old friends. I love it. I absolutely LOVE it. But I am exhausted. And the biggest work is still ahead – tonight and tomorrow!

So instead of a project, a few photos today.

Since I started this 31 Days all about color, I’m noticing color in my environment more and more.

It’s been fun! It’s made me stop and get my camera, and even more importantly, it’s made me slow down and be mindful of what I see around me.

There is so much beauty – in objects and in people and in moments that surround us every day – that goes unnoticed when we don’t pay attention. And even in the craziness of this week, I seem to be paying a little more attention.

And for those of you who are just here for the clothes:

These are the pants that will be transformed into something new – possibly two new “somethings” – but not now. Now I have 5 minutes before I go back for more Rummage Sale fun. As I sort books and clothes and thousands of little things, I’ll be paying attention to all the colors around me.
