I know, Mint Gray isn’t really a color. But that’s the best description I can think of for the color of these beads. It’s the softest shade of green and the softest shade of gray combined. It’s lovely.
The color reminds me of candy. Or the palest of robins’ eggs.
When I was little, my Granddaddy found a robin’s nest in the tree in front of his house. The mama had left the nest with three little eggs inside. Granddaddy sent one egg home with us. We kept it in the refrigerator. I saw it every time I opened the door to get some butter. I can’t remember how old I was, but I remember asking my Mom one day, months later, how long exactly it was supposed to take for a baby robin to hatch.
The whole time, I thought there was a baby robin growing in our refrigerator.
My new tripod arrived today! I’m off to read the owner’s manual. Maybe reading the manual will prevent me from breaking this one.
