Just popping in for a minute. I saw these leaves out back and had to snap a quick photo. We (well, Husband) planted a Crepe Myrtle several years ago, and it’s grown tall, but it’s definitely not a tree yet. I hadn’t even really noticed its leaves this summer, but now, with fall (finally) starting, its fall color change confirms, “Yes, I really am a tree!” A good reminder that beginning small is still beginning.
